Profile

Impact of Human Activities on Biodiversity

All human activities have an impact on biodiversity. Over the past 50 years, the extractive economic model, coupled with population growth, have profoundly altered the life cycles fundamental to the overall functioning of ecosystems. A universal matrix for measuring humans' impact on biodiversity is needed to transform current business models as well as individual behaviour.

PROJECT MANAGED DIRECTLY
Environmental behaviours

[THE PROJECT IS CURRENTLY BEING DEFINED]

Purpose

The research project aims to identify individuals' environmental attitudes and the subsequent behaviours they adopt (e.g., in the realm of transportation, food choices, and overall consumption). The objective is to classify these attitudes based on the significance of their individual impacts and ultimately determine the most effective approaches to induce mindset changes. The goal is to prioritize the conservation of biodiversity and the combat against climate change at the center of individual decision-making (ecology of the mind).
