Villa Fortuna

It is the legal headquarters of Fondazione Capellino. Three (3) projects are developed within it:

RVF - Experimental Agricultural Society

100% owned by Fondazione Capellino, deals with the recovery of agricultural fields once devoted exclusively to intensive agriculture now transformed into forest, stable meadow for 15ha; orchard in agroforest certified organic for 3.5ha; vineyard certified organic and experimental (experimentation conducted with CREA) for 3.5ha. Superimposed on the strictly organic characteristic activity is the experimentation and study of the maximum possible integration of biodiversity into the agricultural system and the development of the method that enables it.

Conservation of the built heritage

Intervention on the buildings is based on principles of bio-architecture and energy autonomy, with zero occupation of new land.

The building complex, consisting of a villa and a historic farmstead protected by the Fine Arts, as well as two farmsteads and an accommodation facility, will be restored following criteria of philological conservation and performance improvement. The intervention includes the use of materials compatible with the original structure, static consolidation and implementation of thermal insulation systems with natural materials including clay to reduce energy loss. Work has begun and will be completed at the end of 2027.

School of Biodiversity

Will be located inside the historic villa, but courses will start in a temporary location a year earlier (beginning 2027).
