Impact on
Biodiversity
All human activities have an impact on biodiversity. However, this impact is often given limited consideration in decision making, unless it is framed as improvement or development. Many current pressures on nature are driven by a combination of population growth and the increasing influence of financial systems in shaping priorities and outcomes.
The Reintegration Economy occurs whenever company profits, public funds, and individual contributions are returned to biodiversity. Through Almo Nature, which is fully owned by Fondazione Capellino, a non-profit organisation dedicated to safeguarding biodiversity, this approach is already being put into practice.
