Pier Giovanni Capellino meets the Brazilian Environment Minister

Last Friday, our founder Pier Giovanni Capellino was welcomed by the Brazilian Environment Minister, Marina Silva, with whom there was a long discussion on the issues of biodiversity and renaturalisation.

The Minister showed a great willingness to listen and share, and raise the subjects of our action for the Cerrado and in particular the Black Jaguar project that the Foundation co-leads on the Araguaia-Tocantins stream with President Lula.
Yesterday, the exploration of the Black Jaguar project began with the Brazilian team from the Foundation Capellino made up of two experts, one in agricultural and forestry engineering, and the other in biodiversity.
