Environmental attitudes

PROJECT DIRECTLY CONDUCTED

Purpose

We want to understand how people develop awareness of the no longer postponable need to make daily choices with a reduced impact on the environment and then propose the results to political decision makers in order to help evolve regulations.

Impact on Biodiversity - Environmental attitudes-1

Area of intervention

This is an experimental research project that, through the analysis of the behaviors of a statistically significant sample of people (also involving the REcommunity), identifies 'environmental attitudes', the motivations or 'determinants', underlying our individual choices, for example in food, transport and leisure, which in turn shape our daily behaviours.
Once identified, purchasing choices are classified according to the relevance of their impacts and finally the most suitable methods are sought to produce changes in people's mindset - towards an ecology of the mind - so as to safeguard biodiversity and fight against change climate represent the driving force of individual choices.

To explore the state of the art of the project at the end of 2025, see the presentation here.
