From the Azores to Svalbard, passing through Doñana in Spain, the Wadden Sea in the Netherlands, and the Alps, our journey to create the documentary *Habitat2* revealed the vital role of the Gulf Stream. Now under threat, this ocean current helps sustain biodiversity across Europe and far beyond.
